Resource Development Coordinator

Job Description


Department: Resource Development Coordinator

Reports to: John Wagoner, Resource Development Team

Conditions: Part Time, (usually in conjunction with another position held)


Duties:

As a member of the Resource Development Team, the Resource Development Coordinator accesses potential community resources/funding sources and acts as a liaison between Arc Mid-Cities and the resources to to cultivate an on-going and prosperous relationship for all those involved.

Responsibilities include:

Seeking-out community services and funding sources which may be potential resources for Arc Mid-Cities

Accessing those resources and increasing the number of referrals to Arc Mid-Cities' programs through phone calls, meetings, presentations, letters, and other forms of communication

Cultivating a business relationship with resources through on-going communications in various forms and through troubleshooting

Designing and writing proposals or completing applications aimed at making use of community resources and increasing the number of Arc Mid-Cities programs

Attending important meetings which would expose Arc Mid-Cities' programs to other organizations and vice versa.  Such meetings may include: Vendors Committee Meetings, Chamber of Commerce Meetings, Regional Center Meetings

Meeting with other members of the Resource Development Team to discuss potential leads, progress, and ideas

Representing Arc Mid-Cities in a positive and business-like manner at all times
